These techniques are used by successful entrepreneurs all over the world; skills that took many of them years to develop, but you will get to understand them before you enter college.

On completing the program, you will have clear answers to the following questions:

  • What are the issues, tensions and relationships faced by entrepreneurs as they build a new venture?
  • What are common enablers and barriers to venture creation?
  • How to develop a business model to test your assumptions about product offerings and market demand?
  • How do you assess the current market and position your product offerings for competitive advantage?
  • What is the most agile way to develop new product and services that will gain market traction quickly?
  • What are current approaches for cost effective customer acquisition and retention?
  • How to build credible financials based on reasonable, benchmarked assumptions?
  • What metrics are critical to measure and monitor new venture success?
  • How to build the right team and culture for successful launch and early stage growth?

Throughout the program, you will refine your venture’s business model based on instructor, peer, customer and investor feedback. You will complete the program with a comprehensive new venture planning document, investor pitch, minimal viable product and validated business model.

You will also develop crucial skills like critical thinking, planning, setting timelines and targets, implementing out-of-the-box ideas, public speaking, leadership, developing an entrepreneurial mind, team building and creativity.

You will learn how to identify, create and explore entrepreneurship opportunities under the guidance of world-class professors from Columbia Business School and SP Jain.
